Biography

Education:

Ron Snyder obtained his Computer Aided Drafting Technical Diploma from Foothills Technical School in 1990, then in 2013, he earned his Associate of Applied Science in General Technology Degree from ASUB. In 2013, he also earned a Yamaha Outboard Certification and a Bronze level Certification with Sthil.

Experience:

Snyder is the Instructor of Power Sports Technology on the Searcy campus. He began his career in 1991 teaching Computer Aided Drafting. In 2011, he began teaching Power Sports Technology as the demand for skilled technicians in the Power Sports field began to rise. Ron is married to Gail. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. He loves hunting and fishing. Teaching Power Sports Technology fits perfect into his career due to his love for the outdoors. If you want to learn Power Sports, he will be right there beside you teaching you everything he knows.

Through a partnership between A-State and ASUB, students may earn baccalaureate degrees from Arkansas State University by taking coursework at the Degree Center on the Beebe campus.
