I began my career at ASU-Beebe teaching adjunct classes at Beebe and Heber Springs over several years. I’ve now been teaching Spanish full time at Arkansas State University in Beebe for about 10 years. I taught Spanish in middle school many years in Little Rock. During the summers for many years, I subdivided land and built houses for sale. My wife and I currently live in Joy in a house that we built on 100 acres with a lake. We now enjoy traveling during the summers and have been to most states in the United States as well as numerous foreign countries including: Canada, Mexico, France, England, Italy and Greece. Although I teach Spanish, it is not my native language. Spanish was especially relevant to me because my four older brothers and I made several trips to Mexico. I enjoy speaking and teaching the language to students at ASU-Beebe.
