BSE, University of Arkansas
I joined ASU-Beebe as an instructor of biology in 2009. Prior to coming to Beebe, I received my BSE in kinesiology from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a MS in physiology and biophysics from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
My teaching interests include anatomy & physiology I/II, principles of biology, and anatomical kinesiology. I am the lead Instructor for A&P II and have participated on campus committees and organizations such as faculty senate, website committee, and various pre-nursing seminars. I advise students in pre-med, nursing, and a few other healthcare areas.
My primary current research interests are in the field of higher education leadership. I am currently completing my education in higher education administration, EdD, at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).
In my free time, I enjoy hunting and fishing, reading science fiction, resistance weight training, watching college and professional athletic events, and being with my wife and three children.
