Dr. Moore earned her Doctorate in Education focused on leadership, curriculum, and instruction from Liberty University (VA), as well as a Master's in Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock focused on secondary mathematics education. Dr. Moore also holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and earned a post-graduate Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership through Arkansas State University.
Dr. Moore began as the Dean of Business, Math & Science for ASU- Beebe July 2017. Her journey in the field of education started with teaching secondary and post-secondary mathematics. Dr. Moore has provided training and professional development to educators with the primary goals of improving instruction and increasing student engagement, learning and achievement. As a school improvement consultant, she evaluated programs and systems throughout the state of Arkansas. Dr. Moore has also worked in the business sector in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to ASUB, she was Director of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Center for Health Literacy, where she managed all programs and services, led center staff, presented to healthcare professionals and students on effective communication, conducted research on health literacy and collaborated with faculty on inter-professional education curriculum. Dr. Moore currently serves on the Arkansas Literacy Council Board and agrees with the words of Horace Mann, “Education, then, beyond all other devices of human origin, is the great equalizer of the conditions of men, — the balance-wheel of the social machinery.”
A native Arkansan and avid Razorback fan, Dr. Moore was born and raised in Batesville. She and her family have resided in the Cabot area for the past two decades.
