After earning her degrees, Tisha earned her certification as rehabilitation counselor through Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification in 1999.
Tisha L. Marzewski’s career objective is to encourage persons with disabilities to pursue their life dreams and goals. Tisha strives to promote awareness with each individual that she works with that a disability does not alone define the person but adds to the whole of the person.
Tisha joined the Student Success Center at Arkansas State University—Beebe in 2007 as the Coordinator of Disability Services. As disability services coordinator/counselor for a two year university with four unique campuses, she has a direct insight to what challenges and growth that individuals with disabilities experience at the higher education setting. She enjoys the work she does and feels proud to witness the success of individuals with disabilities as they work toward their life goals and dreams.
Her background before she entered the world of higher education and disability services was in the world of vocational rehabilitation. She worked for both Missouri and Arkansas as a counselor assisting individuals with disabilities to gain competitive employment.
