Education:

Bachelor of Arts in the Administration of Justice - University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA 1981

Master's Degree in Public Administration - Golden Gate University - San Francisco, CA 1983

Specialist Degree in Community College Teaching - Arkansas State University - 2009

Doctorate in Educational Leadership - Arkansas State University - 2015

Experience:

Dr. Doug Larkins is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology. He located in the England Center, Room 104 on the Beebe Campus.  He joined the ASUB Faculty in August of 2006. His previous career included several years as a police officer for the Jacksonville Police Department and the White County Sheriff's Department. Prior to his work as a police office, Dr. Larkins spent twenty-one years as active duty in the United States Air Force. His retirement in 1986 was the culmination of several Air Force careers to include the Special Agent Air Force Office of Special Investigations and C-130 Loadmaster.

Through a partnership between A-State and ASUB, students may earn baccalaureate degrees from Arkansas State University by taking coursework at the Degree Center on the Beebe campus.
