Upon subtle persuasion from my daughter, Steffy, my husband, David, and I moved to Beebe in the fall of 2009 and adopted Beebe as our new hometown. Teaching is a way of life for me. My two daughters have often accused me of “going into teacher mode” at various times during their lives. Now I am doing that with my five grandchildren. I live a blessed life.
In my spare time, I make quilts. I delight in all aspects of quilting: the creativity of designing and planning a new quilt top with its beautiful color scheme, the quality time spent with my quilting buddies hand quilting and visiting around an old-fashioned quilting frame, and, maybe the best part, giving it to someone I love.
