Dr. Timothy Bartlett serves Arkansas State University – Beebe as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities. There he directs the Singers and Chamber Singers, and teaches voice, sight singing and music appreciation. Before coming to ASU-Beebe Dr. Bartlett taught high school choral music in Indiana for 13 years, as well as having numerous other teaching and conducting positions in college, school, community and church capacities.
As a professional baritone, Dr. Bartlett’s performance experience most recently has included regular membership in the Arkansas Chamber Singers, where he has served as bass/baritone section leader and occasional bass/baritone. He also enjoys singing in the church choir at the First United Methodist Church of Little Rock. Dr. Bartlett is originally from Michigan, and his career has included working there and in Indiana. He is married to Gwenn and has two sons, Ian and Christopher.
