About the Report
These figures are based on self-reporting to the Delta Population Health Institute of NYITCOM at Arkansas State University, working in cooperation with Arkansas State University-Beebe to serve as testing and contact tracing for ASU System. They also include cases which may have been initially reported through the Arkansas Department of Health or UAMS and forwarded to NYITCOM. These represent cases confirmed at Arkansas State, and cases reported thru the COVID-19 Self-Reporting form.
Due to increases in testing and reporting to other agencies, and the possibility that not all cases are self-reported to NYITCOM or relayed from other public sources to ASU-Beebe, the information above may not include all cases of COVID-19 among the Arkansas State University-Beebe community.
ISOLATION VS. QUARANTINE
Reminder: individuals who have tested positive or received a medical diagnosis of COVID-19 are considered active cases, and are in isolation. Individuals who have been deemed a direct contact of a positive case are asked to quarantine themselves to prevent spread. Those in quarantine may also be advised to be tested for COVID-19. Individuals listed as cumulative positive cases are those who over the course of the pandemic have tested positive for COVID-19.
