Adult Education Opportunities
Enrollment:
*Call for initial enrollment information, and an appointment will be scheduled for registration and assessment.*Persons 18 years of age and older may enroll in adult education programs.
*Individuals 16 or 17 years of age may enroll provided they are referred by the public school and eligibility requirements are met.
*The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is administered to screen and determine placement information for reading, mathematics, and language through the 12th grade level.
*The GED Practice Test is administered if a score of 9th grade or higher is achieved on the TABE test, which predicts how well a student would perform on the official GED exam.

Language Arts, Reading, Mathematics, Science - Basic Skills Refresher
- Basic Computer Literacy
Classes:
*All classes are free as well as the official GED Test.
*All instruction is provided by licensed, certified teachers.
*Individualized instruction is used to accommodate various academic levels.
*Morning, afternoon, and evening classes are available.
*Three convenient locations in Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy are also available.
*Year-round Registration.
*Books and materials are provided in the classroom for students.
*ASU-Beebe's Adult Education Centers provides equal access to all programs and activities.
Official GED Testing:
*Official GED Testing is free!
*Individuals must pass an official GED Practice Test before they are scheduled for the official GED exam.
*Official Testing is available at all three locations -- Beebe, Heber Springs, and Searcy.
*Day and evening testing is available.
*Individuals passing the GED exam will receive their Arkansas High School Diploma from the State Department of Education.
