Academic Scholarships
All ASU-Beebe scholarships are awarded based upon the availability of funds. All students must be a first time entering college student and residents of the State of Arkansas to qualify. Qualifying test scores must be no more than five years old. ASU-Beebe scholarships are administered according to University guidelines and awarded only to students who have applied for admission to the University. Priority Deadline Date: June 1.
Academic Excellence Scholarship
- Awarded with composite ACT of 27 or better
- Pays full tuition (up to 18 hours) plus $250 for up to four semesters
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for renewal
Academic Scholarship
- Awarded with composite ACT of 24 or better
- Pays full tuition (up to 18 hours) for up to 4 semesters
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for renewal
Academic Incentive Scholarship
- Awarded with composite ACT of 22 or better, or COMPASS scores of 89 in reading, 89 in writing, 56 in Algebra
- Pays one-half tuition for 1 semester (12 hours)
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for upgrade to Academic Scholarship
Valedictorian or Salutatorian Scholarship
- Valedictorian or Salutatorian from a high school accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education.
- Pays full tuition (up to 15 hours) for up to 4 semesters
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for renewal
GED Scholarship
- Awarded with GED score of 600 or above
- Pays full tuition (up to 15 hours)
- Must be enrolled at least half-time
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for upgrade to Academic Scholarship
Technical Certificate Academic Scholarships

Technical Certificate Academic Scholarship
- Awarded with composite ACT of 22 or better, or COMPASS scores of 89 in reading, 89 in writing, 56 in Algebra
- Pays full tuition for technical program courses
- Completion of all technical program courses and 3.00 GPA for renewal
Technical Incentive Academic Scholarship
- Awarded with composite ACT of 19 or better, or COMPASS scores of 82 in reading, 75 in writing, 41 in Algebra
- Pays one-half tuition for technical program courses for first semester
- Completion of all technical program courses and 3.00 GPA for upgrade to Technical Certificate Academic Scholarship
Technical Scholarship for High School Seniors
- One senior may be selected from each high school in the Wilbur D. Mills Coop
- Pays full tuition for technical program courses
- Completion of all technical program courses and 3.00 GPA for renewal
Technical Achievement Scholarship
- Have completed one year at high school Technical Center
- Pays full tuition for technical program courses
- Completion of all technical program courses and 3.00 GPA for renewal
Additional Scholarships
Honors Scholarship Program
- Pays $250 per semester for up to 4 semesters
- Awarded with a composite ACT of 24 or better
- Requires participation in the Honors program
- May be awarded in addition to other scholarships
- Application deadline is the first day of classes
- Credit hour and GPA requirements for renewal

Leadership Scholarship
- Pays one-half in-state tuition for up to 2 semesters
- First-time entering students
- Requires placement in the top 25% of graduating class and demonstration of leadership abilities in high school
- Two letters of reference are required
- Application deadline is June 1

Private Scholarships
- Applications for these scholarships are accepted during the spring semester for that student's sophomore year and are offered based on availability of funds.

Academic Challenge Hour Requirement Notice:
Academic Challenge students who graduated Spring 2010 must be enrolled in the required 12 credit hours the day after the census date to be eligible to receive the award for the Fall 2010 semester. First-year students must be enrolled in 15 credit hours in all future semesters.
Continuing students must be enrolled in the required 15 credit hours the day after the census date each semester to be eligible to receive the award for the 2010-2011 year.
If you are not registered in the required hours, the Academic Challenge Award will be canceled and if you have a balance on your account, you will be responsible for payment. If this happens, please visit the Cashier's window or call the Business Office at 501-882-8850.
Academic Challenge students can no longer add courses for the 8-week terms and receive the Challenge award. Classes must have commenced by the census date.
