International Admissions

Thank you for interest in attending Arkansas State University-Beebe.  If you are thinking about attending ASU-Beebe you will need to complete the following tasks.  ASU-Beebe accepts only international students with F-1 Visas.  The items you will need for acceptance to ASU-Beebe are the following:

  • Application for Admission. You can complete the Admissions Application online at our website at www.asub.edu or come by our office and fill out a paper application.
  • High School transcript/College transcript.  These transcripts must be translated into English.  You do not have to send your High School transcript if you have a College transcript.
  • TOEFL scores.  (Paper score of 500, computer based score of 173 or an internet based score of 63).  You can take the IBT internet based test.  To schedule an exam go to www.ets.com.
  • A letter of sponsorship/Bank statement.  Your sponsor must submit a formal letter to the Office of Admissions stating that they promise to pay your tuition, fees, room and board, books, and all other expenses while you are studying in the U.S.  You must turn in your recent bank statement (within three months of present day) showing balance of 12,500.00 U.S. dollars for one year of studies.
  • Medical Insurance.  You will need to submit proof of medical insurance prior to attending classes and every semester you plan to attend classes.
  • Shot records.  ASU-Beebe requires proof of immunization against Measles, Mumps, and Rubella.
  • TB Skin test.  Students from certain countries are required to show proof of a TB Skin test. 

Information about our campus, tuition, and fees for international students, housing, and other important information is available on our website.  When the Office of Admissions receives your required documentation you will receive an acceptance letter and an I-20.
