What is the DANTES (DSST) exam?
The Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)/DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) program is an extensive series of 37 examinations in college subject areas that are comparable to the final or end-of-course examinations in undergraduate courses.
How much does the exam cost?
DSST exams are free to eligible military personnel. All eligible candidates must present a current military ID card and a second form of government-issued photo ID with signature.
Non-military personnel will be required to pay $80.00 per test (with a credit card only VISA, Mastercard, or American Express) and a non-refundable administration fee of $20.00 (check, money order, or credit card made payable to ASU-Beebe) that is due prior to the scheduled examination date.

How can I register for this exam?
Advance registration is required. The registration/admission form must be received by the ASU-Little Rock AFB administrative office no later than 5 p.m. the day prior to testing.
When will I receive my scores?
Examinees will be able to see their score upon completion of the exam. Examinees may also view their scores on the website at www.ibt.prometric.com/dsst
Examinees will not receive a printout of the score on the day of the exam but will receive one within 4 weeks after their initial test date.
What is the institutional code?
For DSST examination results to be sent to a school, examinees must know that school's four digit institution code before arriving to their scheduled examination.
DANTES funded military examinee results are automatically sent to the Community College of the Air Force. No institution code is necessary.
