Career Fair

When searching for that first big career choice, Career Fairs aren't just fun and games. While smiling recruiters may be handing out the freebies, they are still there on serious business .... trying to identify potential candidates from the job seekers that pass by their booths. Create a good first impression so they will remember you and pull your resume out of that big stack awaiting them.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Students will improve their presentation skills in the areas of interpersonal communication, self-esteem and confidence, and personalappearance.
  2. Students will improve their self-advocacy skills.
  3. Students will develop a better understanding of the job market, career qualifications, and expectations of potential employers.
  4. Students will develop a better understanding of how to navigate the transfer process to another school and improve their understanding of institutional fit.

Annual Event

The Student Success Center hosts an annual Spring Career Fair for students, alumni and community members.  Dozens of employers are present hiring for full-time, part-time, internship and contract positions. Career Fair Preparation Workshops

These workshops are designed to help you prepare for the upcoming career fair.
