Computer Information Systems intertwines technology with managing business and solving operational problems. This program prepares the student to enter the challenging field of computer information systems with knowledge of programming, database management, and systems analysis. The program is designed to meet the business community's demand for properly trained information systems specialists, as well as providing the student with a solid background to advance in this rapidly expanding field. The student will learn how to develop, design, manage and maintain business technology infrastructure and be able to inform businesses of their specific technology needs. The student acquires knowledge in topics, which include widely used programming languages, database development and manipulation, and application software.
