The Auto Body Repair Technology program focuses on helping the student develop the skills and gain the experience needed to take on tasks, such as repairing damage from a collision, restoring a vintage car, and customizing the look of a vehicle.
The auto body and collision repair field has become more complex with the advancement of new materials and technologies used in today's vehicles. Students in this industry learn the technology needed to replace or repair body panels, straighten and repair frame damage, sand and paint vehicles, replace plastic interior and trim panels, to name a few. This program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
