Every student who enters college must take a placement test. The most common tests that ASUB accepts is the Compass and ACT. The results are used to place you in entry level math and English and courses-the scores help determine if a student needs developmental work or is ready for college level courses.
Most everyone has heard of the ACT test. It is the traditional test given to high school students. However, ASUB offers a similar test known as the Compass. Most community college students, traditional age and non-traditional, find the Compass to be a better fit for them.
