How do I get credit?

What is Articulated Credit?

Articulated credit starts with an articulation agreement between a high school and a college to provide the students an opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Articulated credit is designed to save the student time, effort, and expense.

The College and Career Links student must take a sequence of courses that meet the requirements agreed upon by the high school and ASU-Beebe. Those courses are taught at the high school by a high school teacher. This allows students to progress to the post-secondary level without duplicating coursework taken in high school. The earned credit is held in "escrow" until the student completes one semester (minimum 6 hours) at ASU–Beebe.

How can I get Articulated Credit?

The following conditions must be met:

  1. There must be a signed Intent/Release Form (pdf) on file with the College and Career Links Coordinator at ASU-Beebe.
  2. The high school course must be passed with an overall grade of "B" or better and meet any stated requirements for the articulated credit.
  3. The student must apply for admission to ASU-Beebe and complete a semester (minimum 6 hours) within 15 months of graduation.
  4. The student must submit an Application for Articulated Credit (pdf) and the credit will be posted to the ASU-Beebe transcript within the second semester.

Remember, the articulated credit is FREE!
A maximum of 18 credits can be articulated at ASU-Beebe.**

**Automotive Services Technology does allow more credit.
