Enrollment Data

Enrollment Data Institutional Research is often asked for data on ASU-Beebe enrollment in credit courses. The links below provide different views of that enrollment. To determine which enrollment view best suits your needs, please review the information below. Most reports list an unduplicated student headcount as well as the SSCH (Student Semester Credit Hours). FTE (full-time equivalency) is calculated by dividing the SSCH by 15 (or dividing by 30 for an annual report).

Comp Stats Reports detail the official enrollment data as reported to the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) each semester.  Enrollment is broken down by campus, attendance status, student classification, and gender.

The "Census" versions of the reports include enrollments in courses that are considered on-schedule by ADHE.  On-schedule courses are those that begin on or before the official census date for each semester/term.  Courses that begin after the official census date are considered off-schedule.

The "Off Schedule" versions of the reports include enrollment in courses that are considered off-schedule by ADHE because they begin after the official census date of the semester.  Since we report off-schedule courses to ADHE after the semester has ended, the off-schedule comp stats are not available until sometime after the end of each semester.

This report lists enrollment at ASUB for each semester/term. Annual student enrollment is also provided. Each fall and spring semester tab shows enrollment for both the full semester (all enrollments regardless of the course start date within the semester), as well as census enrollment for those courses that start at the beginning of the semester only. Enrollment is broken down by campus. Online course enrollment is listed separately, except for online courses taught by full-time Heber Springs faculty. Enrollment in such courses are included in the Heber Springs enrollments.

Enrollment Data Since 2002

This report lists annual student enrollment by academic major. Students who switch majors throughout the year may be counted in multiple majors, so this report should not be used to determine an unduplicated headcount of students enrolled at ASUB.

Student Enrollment by Major Report

Similar to the “Student Enrollment by Major” report, this further breaks enrollment down into enrollment by campus. Since students can be listed in more than one major or attend more than one campus throughout the year, this report should not be used to determine an unduplicated headcount of students enrolled at ASUB.
