Congratulations to Michael Watson, ASU-Beebe Searcy campus security officer, on receiving the 2nd Quarter Shining Star Award. Watson (middle) receives the Shining Star Award from Staff Senate president Tonya Tucker (left), and Miranda Harmon, Shining Star Chairman.
He was nominated for the award specifically for assisting several offices last summer when there was a need for answering phones, serving popcorn to students, or just ‘holding down the fort’ when someone needed to take a short break without locking the office.

Thanks to ASU-Beebe's Student Activities Council for a great Spring Fling '19 this week.
Competition between the student organizations began on Monday with the Relay Race in the Grove, followed by a Campus Feud Tournament on Tuesday and judging the Banner Contest on Wednesday.
The students will end the week with their own egg hunt on Thursday at 8 p.m., with winners of the week's Spring Fling '19 activities announced.
